Buttonwood Farm Organic Christmas Trees

We were casually looking for a place to pick down our own Christmas tree, and stumbled upon the only organic tree farm in Washington. I called to ask about pricing and availability, the gal was so friendly and warm, told us all we needed to know on the call. Our family of four hopped in the car and we were welcomed with a smile, a map and instructions. Everything was well-thought out on their end. We found “the one”, purchased it and they gave us a saw to cut ourselves. They also offered to cut it for us. We declined because we wanted the “you-pick” experience. We then cut the tree down and put it on a dolly and our nine year olds wheeled it to the hot chocolate and cider tent. Beverages and toppings included with the experience. We hopped in our car while the sweet man netted the tree and tied it down on our car roof. We handed the receipt to the other sweet man when we exited the farm and off we went. Recommend for anyone looking for a full experience of cutting down your own tree to those who just want a beautiful hand-made wreath. We’re looking forward to making Buttonwood apart of our family traditions moving forward.

For a variety of reasons I have been to six different Christmas Tree farms in six different states in the last six years. Buttonwood is the BEST experience I've had at a Christmas tree farm. Usually we walk around for hours feeling like none of the trees look very good, and feel lucky to find one decent one. I could have taken home any of the trees for sale here and had a beautiful, healthy, full tree. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there's a decent amount of different varieties. Things to note: you have to book ahead of time. They operate on a pre-scheduled system, but it's very easy to do online. Yes, the trees are a little pricier than some other places, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I've already told all my friends and family they should come here this year. All around a great experience.

I am new to this area and wasn’t sure of where to get my tree from this year. Found Buttonwood Farm on Google and decided to give it a try. Extremely wonderful experience from the start. The entrance/exit staff were friendly and accommodating. The trees were beautiful, ranging from really small to giant for any sized home. All the workers were pleasant to interact with and the steps to choose, cut, and bag our tree was seamless and well thought out. I would definitely return here and recommend it to friends and family.

Stumbled upon this place because of our photographer. Upon arrival these two kids approached us asking if we were buying or taking photos. Very helpful people all around. We came here on Saturday for photos and came back the next day. Decided we would get our Christmas tree before Thanksgiving this year. So glad we did. Great selection of trees. Prices vary and depends what type of tree you get. We decided to bite the bullet and bought the grand fir tree. The lady who worked there was very helpful and friendly. The tree smells so good and from what the lady said many people get this type because of the citrus smell. First night we had it we stored it in our garage and it smelled so good! Overall we had fun. Another bonus is they are well equipped for trees to travel. Their saws are sharp (major plus) and easy to use.

Had an amazing experience here! Was greeted as soon as we pulled in by very nice and respectful HS aged staff. Very knowledgeable about the trees and even make great recommendations. A wide variety of trees to choose from at a fair price. Definitely pay for the experience you receive, anywhere from the complimentary custom tree ornament to the help with cutting, wrapping and securing of the tree before you take off! Will definitely be back next year!
